Neoplastitsizm

His version of the design, which had a direct relationship to the architecture, and in particular to the interior, gave the world a little Holland. In 1917, Theo van Doesburg artists Piet Mondrian and founded the magazine "De Stijl", which promoted the idea of a new design as a creative process - as he began his story. With the same name is going to a group that included the most progressive Dutch architects and artists. New style young Dutch design - neoplastitsizm - was fully formed by 1920. It was a new plastic pure geometric planes - postkubistichesky abstraktsionalizma geometric form.

Propaganda of the "De Stijl" was "radical renewal of art" by creating a single international module, which by nature is very much like an international module Suprematist Malevich. Creator of Suprematism and creators neoplastitsizma worked in the same direction, but were not familiar with the systems of each other, and, thus, have come close to the same problems and have developed a very similar solutions to these problems. Neoplastitsizm differed in that he had several creators: some of them are more concerned with the theory, and the other part - the practical application in the design. Neoplastitsizm unlike Malevich's Suprematism, has made a greater contribution to the practice of design, especially in the formation of a new type of architecture and interior equipment.

In 1917, Theo van Doesburg was the first attempt to create a synthesis of art and architecture in the interior. Architecture while treated with scenic modules consisting of three pure chromatic colors - blue, red and yellow, and three achromatic - black, white and gray. Similar principles apply in both the design of geometric windows and ceilings, as well as the design of the furniture, which fitted into the architectural space and was organically linked with the space of the interior.

Modularity plastics passed by dividing the rectangular planes of color with black lines of varying thickness. Thus there is a conceptual modular grid, through which formed a special plastic and integration of all the component parts of the interior in a coherent and clear system.

In neoplastitsistov a major theme was the creation of such structures, where the internal space is subject to external himself. Crystal and crystal clarity of the relationship lay in the fact that each individual component is a spatial projection of the interior, open on all sides and clear as crystal.

In 1920, Theo van Doesburg started to make a tour of Europe. There he met with leading European designers, and accepted an invitation to teach, along with Pete Mondrian in the famous Bauhaus school of design. In the same time period in Doesburg formed the theoretical ideas about the future of architecture, which, regardless of the scale and purpose, was to be monumental and economical.

Gerrit Thomas Rietveld - another representative of the "De Stijl" - founded the canons of modern design-engineering. In 1919, he joined a group of neoplastitsistov. Almost immediately, he became known throughout the world for his work in a new style - red and blue chair. Rietveld chair looked like the alternation of two colored plywood planes, which were connected by a simple framework consisting of colored wooden beams, and went down in history as one of the main symbols of the world design. In addition, the well-deserved reputation brought many projects Rietveld interiors of public and private spaces. A classic building in the style neoplastitsizm - Schroder House in Utrecht, the Rietveld created in 1924, ranked among the masterpieces of world scale.

Since 1929, Gerrit Rietveld began to develop the concept of home in his life - whole "rod" system of housing, factory-prepared and, by the author, includes a sewer, heating, electrical and ventilation. This rod was to join up the main living space.

Neoplastitsizm - a style that has been focused on the design of buildings for the middle class and low-cost modular furniture based on the module of the wooden box, timber and plywood. That neoplastitsizm greatly influenced the formation of the Bauhaus style, which is the main aim is to establish a standard of housing options for the poor. Neoplastitsizm invented the first, one might even say, one of the best options for a simple modular equipment, laying the foundation for framing modern modular furniture.
