Functionalism

Functionalist style was laid German Bauhaus school in 1920-1930. Functionalist idea looks very similar to the ideas of Russian Constructivism. However, the main difference between these two styles - the ratio of the time. Western functionalism associated with advanced technical capabilities, while constructivism oriented to the future in a socialist utopia. Functionalist style preferred by those who want the most convenient and comfortable living conditions in a relatively small space, which is very important for the people of our country.

• You can use besperegorodochnye frames for windows. This will add light to your interior. The windows can be decorated with blinds or hang light curtains.
• The floor will work well with light tiles or laminate, that is, a material that is easy to clean. You can decorate the floor mats with small bright figure, which is not very noticeable dust.
• As accessories should be chosen primarily functional things. Add some mirrors: they visually expand your space and create a future. Use the vases in which you can put flowers, etc. You can also complete interior paintings with geometric patterns.
• In the functionalist style, color can be very diverse. It is only important harmonious combination of colors in the interior.
